~About 10 months later~
You sat on the couch, watching tv as you bottle-fed your one-month-old daughter. She looked so beautiful to you. She looked like Arthur, with both his blonde hair and bright green, captivating eyes. Thankfully though, she didn’t inherit his eyebrows; they looked cute on him, but you didn’t think they’d look so good on her.
You looked down at her as she finished with the bottle.
“That was fast.” You smiled at her as you put the bottle aside and started burping her gently.
Arthur came home then and smiled at you, putting his coat aside. He sat beside you and pet Elizabeth’s head gently.
“How are you two today?” He asked before kissing your cheek and then your daughter’s forehead.
“I feel fine. She’s been pretty quiet today, though.”
“What do you mean?”
“She hasn’t cried, whined, giggled.. nothing.”
You looked at Elizabeth, who just stared blankly between you and Arthur.
“Let me see her.” Arthur held out his hands and you carefully handed Elizabeth to him. He looked at her for a few moments, holding her underneath her arms and making her stand on his legs. He smiled at her; nothing. He wiggled his eyebrows at her; still nothing. He put her down on his legs and tickled her tummy gently; nope.
“Is there something wrong with her?” You asked worriedly.
“No. Babies can do this sometimes. You just have to find that one way.”
Elizabeth looked at you again before cooing softly.
“See? I guess she likes you.” He handed her back to you and smiled faintly.
When you took her again, she smiled faintly and grabbed hold of the pocket watch around your neck. You smiled at her and kissed her forehead. Arthur smiled at the both of you and held you close. “I love you.”
“I love you too.” You smile faintly before it starts to fade.
“What’s wrong?”
“It’s nothing..”
“Tell me.”
You sighed faintly. “Seriously, I don’t want to talk about it..”
He frowned a little, but nodded. “Okay.”
You didn’t want to tell him about it, but what Gilbert had told you the other day kind of bothered you.
~~Flashback, brought to you by Flying Mint Bunny! ~~
You sat in one of the iron chairs outside, holding Elizabeth in your lap. Your best friend, Gilbert sitting right beside you. He was rambling on and on about his new girlfriend and you had toned out a while ago. Your attention was snapped back when he mentioned your daughter and Arthur.
“What?” You asked, having not caught what he said.
“I said, how are you with Arthur and her?” He motioned to Elizabeth.
“We’re fine.. Why?”
“I don’t know. Usually couples who have a kid before their married or even engaged don’t last much longer.”
“What do you mean?”
“I mean, there’s a baby now, between a boyfriend and a girlfriend. Usually arguments break out, this and that happens, and then there’s, problems. And basically, Elizabeth’s a bastard child.”
You felt a little twinge of fear, or pain, that that would really happen. And what he said about Elizabeth.
“That’s not true, Gilbert.” You said, standing up with Elizabeth. “Arthur and I will be just fine, and my daughter’s not a bastard.”
“I didn’t say that she was. I said she was a bastard child.” He raised an eyebrow at you. “Last time I checked, you don’t have a ring on the finger, do you?”
~~Back to the present, sort of! ~~
You sighed a little bit again as Elizabeth yawned. “I’m putting her to bed.”
“Okay..”
You stood up and brought Elizabeth to her room, putting her in the crib. She still held onto the watch though, so you slipped it off and let her sleep with it. She wouldn’t ruin it or anything; she was a very calm baby and didn’t really ruin things like normal babies would.
“Good night.” You said to her and kissed her forehead gently.
You went back downstairs and sat beside Arthur, who held you close and kissed you gently.
“Do you still love me?” You asked after a while of silence.
“What? Of course I do.” He furrowed his brow. “Why would you ask that?”
“It’s nothing..” You kissed his collarbone gently. “I love you..”
“I love you too, love.” He rubbed your back gently and soothingly as he kissed your forehead. “You need to call a babysitter.”
“Huh? Why?”
“Because I want to take you out tomorrow evening. And we’re obviously not going to leave Elizabeth here alone.”
You nodded a little. “Okay.. Where are we going?”
“It’s a surprise~”

One less thing to worry about.
Staring blankly at your empty mug it took all you had in you to place the tea bag inside. The kettle whistled breaking you away from the cup and you removed it from the stove. Filling the cup you could smell your tea but it was still too hot to drink. You took a deep breath and sat down at the kitchen table, still string at it like it was going to make everything all better. Your buzz startling you, picking it up you saw that it was your best friend Alfred.

Hetalia: The Hero
America sprinted down the hallway, passing each door with not much thought to what may have been behind them. He turned the corner and at the end of the corridor, on the left, was the door that lead into the G8 meeting room. He was late, and he knew this; he had been held up by some stuffy, boring politicians as he entered the building and they refused to leave his side until he pretended to listen to what they said and agreed to look at some laws to enforce later. But it was alright, he knew that they wouldn't start the meeting without him. He was the hero, after all.
He threw open the door, and paraded through, in his usual manner. "The he
